A milestone in my life

A milestone in my life. Today marks my third anniversary with Human Appeal – UK alhumdulillah. It’s been an incredible journey so far and I feel truly blessed and fortunate to be in a position to serve humanity and help to make a difference. Never would I have thought that I would have achieved so much in such little time Alhamdulillah! My passion to make a difference and change the lives of those less fortunate became mind over matter for me.

Not knowing what to expect, I left the teaching profession, a profession that I loved to start my journey with Human Appeal three years ago and have never looked back.

There have been many highlights but to have had the the opportunity to climb Kilimanjaro twice to raise funds for communities across the globe, visit Pakistan on so many occasions to contribute towards Human Appeal’s amazing integrated smart village projects in Tharparkar stand out.

I’d like to thank my dear brother Zaheer Khan for giving me the opportunity 3 years ago to join the team, for believing in me, for giving me the opportunities to grow and pushing me always to do more. Love you bro

Last but not least I’d like to thank my family, friends, supporters and partners for trusting me with your donations reaching almost 2 million pounds and having faith in Human Appeal to deliver on the ground. A special mention to my brother Babar Saddiq for believing in me and our work in Tharparkar and doing some amazing work through the Anzal Begum Foundation in partnership with Human Appeal.

I’m super excited and motivated to work harder than ever before for those in need this Ramadan and beyond inshaAllah. If you’d like to get involved and support our work this Ramadan then please get in touch with me.
